Great lake front location right off Hwy 25 on gated private peninsula. Located about 30 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains. Ample parking for any type of boat or jet ski you may have. Welcome to the Winstead Lake House Rental hope you enjoy your stay we have been doing some updating I’ve painted the kitchen cabinets which makes it look much brighter, put new light fixtures up in kitchen & dinning area. We put an electric fireplace in the living room you can enjoy on a cool day to be good an cozy. We will be putting a shower out back of the rental that I think will be nice. We have put in new windows an new sliding doors. Have painted the outside gray trimmed in white looks great so much brighter an neat. You can sit on the large deck an enjoy looking at the lake an the mountains. You can walk or drive down to the dock an sit under the canopy or sit in the sun on a lounger while the kiddos or you if you want can slide down the slide to cool off in the lake. When your done with the lake you can go back to the rental cookout on the gas or charcoal grill. Sit an enjoy your evening on the deck or go shopping. Lots of shopping in Morristown, drive to Great Smokie Mountains enjoying beauty of there mountain there. Go golfing 10 minutes from the rental. Go kayaking in the lake. This bunkhouse is a cute converted stone covered garage. At the bottom of our lot is 50 foot frontage right on the lake. There is a dock there to swim and dock your boat to. Interior – Yes, we now have great WIFI! You will love the interior of our Bunkhouse. It is well finished space with all you need in a tiny bit of room. There are picnic tables around the property to enjoy a snack as well as a charcoal grill! We have some classic family fun games to play in the closet as well (Clue, playing cards, and Rook). We built a small “laptop” desk in the main living area with a super view of the lake as you work. I use AT&T for my laptop internet and get 4G service at the cabin or just use our WIFI service at the bunkhouse. We have two flat screen TVs that get Charter TV cable channels. We also have two air conditioners at the bunkhouse. One in the bedroom and one in the main room. Inside the closet you will find two outdoor folding chairs to relax with and there is a 4 person picnic table for your use as well. Parking is not an issue as you have 1.5 acres of land to use. Not a problem if you have several cars or even your boat and trailer. The morning and evening views are just amazing, to put it mildly. You are just a short distance (about 1 mile) from the German Creek Boat Marina and 10 minutes from Morristown. Here you will find College Square Mall, Walmart, and many other shops. You can rent a pontoon there and park it at our small dock. Contact the German Creek Boat dock. In the winter our place makes a great European furnished apartment. Our decor is simple and styled with a minimal and clean approach to the interior. Stepping into our bungalow is like finding an oasis in town. It is everything you need in a wonderful tiny space. Room for 1-2 folks for your next trip to a UTK or CNU (within walking distance) game or even a business trip to downtown Knoxville (just 30 minutes away). Kitchenette, with bistro table, has a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Bathroom has single stall shower with a tiny tank (shower quick:) Parking is right next to the bungalow just off the street. Jefferson City is home to a Norfolk Southern train track which is several blocks away but still can be surprising to folks that are not used to living near a train. Lesley's Lake House is a charming chalet on the Lake in Bean Station, TN. We have 180' of waterfront & a floating dock . The lake is drawn down, mid Sept - Apr, this means the dock will not always be in the water depending on the lake volume (please take this into account when booking Sept - Apr, you can still pull your boats up on the shoreline & tie them off). The Lake House sits on over an acre of land with plenty of room between neighboring houses. The living room and dining room are open, with a kitchen that has all you will need for your stay. There is a USB outlet at the coffee station. In the back there are two bedrooms (each with two USB outlets) and a full bath. Head downstairs to the third & 4th bedroom, laundry and 2nd full bath. There is Central Heat and Air, and each bedroom has ceiling fans. Living room also has a USB outlet. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably, 4th bedroom is set up for 3-4 kids or two adults. The 4th bedroom (in basement) is set up as a kids room, with a futon bed(twin size), and a Twin over Full bunk bed. There is a TV in the kids room. The very spacious covered deck lets you enter from three sides of the chalet and has a fantastic views of the lake and surrounding hills. Covered parking for motorcycles in front of the walkout basement. 4 kayaks, paddles and adult life-jackets are available free. We do not provide children sized life-jackets, **you must bring your own**. Paddlers must sign a hold harmless agreement which are available on-line(message us for it). You will have access to the whole house, The garage door is locked for storage. Take a walk down to the dock and skip some rocks, watch out for goose droppings. We have what we call 'Rose Island'. This is a small island in the pond that has a beautiful grouping of red 'knockout' roses. Great for kids to explore on. 5. Deck. We have a large deck that has steps leading down to the water's edge. This is a great spot to enjoy the shade of our cover of willow tree branches. (great for folks that don't want so much sun). 6. Swimming. Yes, it is a pond. Yes, it is as clean as ponds go. Our kids and many others really enjoy a dip in the Pond. The mud is deep and the kids AND the Catfish love it! Milkhouse - Our milkhouse is great for family meetings or just hanging out for a game of outdoor ping pong on the large deck. This room also has a stereo hooked to the indoor/outdoor speakers and can be controlled by the PC or the receiver. The milk barn is our main housing area. This is the main sleeping area and cooking area. The milk barn sleeps 17 (4 more can sleep in the milkhouse). The Stage- This Stage has lights and electrical outlets and flower beds all around. Swings- As a child, I remember competing with other grandchildren for the swing on the front porch of my grandmothers house. Her house was located deep in Grainger County, Tennessee at the north side of the base of Clinch Mountain. It was fun to swing even on hot August days when we would visit from Michigan. Everyone seemed to have more time to listen and share stories because of that swing. It was a simple wood slat swing but always seemed to fit right.
